Last Dance Poem by Nebil Elias

Last Dance

I've been alone for years
I've been stuck in my fears
I'm drowning in my tears
Over something you said

I'm alone in bed
Thoughts of regret fills my head
I know I have to change for the better
But it's not easy, there is a lot to suffer

I could have asked for a second chance
But it might not enhance
So, I preferred to change and then ask for a last dance

Would you dance with me for a second time?
Would you spend with me the whole night?
Would you lay with me and watch the stars in the sky?
If I call you, would you pick up the line?
If I need you, would you come by?
If I changed, would you be mine?
