Last Day Of Innocence Poem by james watkin

Last Day Of Innocence

Whilst in love-warm home, nested
A heart within
Its dove, and its safe distant
Worldview takes wing.

Alarmed, more bleak, away
More fearfully
The thought, it cant fly back, to
Coo, as carefree.
