Last Revelation Poem by Daniel Brick

Last Revelation

Imagine a universe of stillness:
when time collapses into eternity,
when change stops wearing new masks
to hide the monotomy of its repetitions,
when Good detaches Evil from its nature,
and presides over its withering.
Imagine both Sun and Moon showering
us with spiritual light. Imagine
the prophecies of the End Time will be
fulfilled without the violence our seers
could not reason past. Instead of destruction,
there will just a whisper rushing through space
and confiding in our hearts:
"Fear not. Be at peace. Everywhere."

I like this imagining, Daniel. We might reasonably ask, Can’t God act without the drama? -Glen
