Last Year At Christmas - Poem by Cynthia BuhainBaello
Last year at Christmas I recall
Dad was still here and made a call
Though he was ill a gift he sent
The last one till to heaven he went.
Last year at Christmas I remember
I was with my dear ailing brother
But then in March he too had departed
Leaving me now so broken hearted.
Sixty Christmases ago
This child had now grown up to know
Each day is Christmas time to love
Family, friends, and God above.
