Late Afternoon Ride (To The Falls) Poem by james watkin

Late Afternoon Ride (To The Falls)

The look of him, could you see!
Thin-lit, late afternoon
By what lures, leaks with hallway's
Secret passage mystique.
This, fern-hung, for a byway's
Chanced upon route; oblique.

'Spin ye wheels, more tantalized;
If jumpy, these thought-gears! '
Yet of this in control of;
What freely to wander
To his bike, with summer love
Is given the offer.
