Late Letter Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Late Letter

If I have to scatter
Choose shall I the matter
That can expand a smile
on all faces fair or dry

Home to have is happiness
That which lasts endless
My night can be darker
Your sleep undisturbed

Carved life as an idol
May be your hut and doll
Mine a brown rugged map
Your garden a starry gap

Prayers from me for lives
Around mine that dance
Mine belated delivered letter
Yours packed in cheer surprise
