Laugh And The World Laughs Poem by Francis Duggan

Laugh And The World Laughs

Laugh and the World laughs with you as a truism remain
The truth in this saying it's own self does explain
The carefree one possess the inner glow
And is a person others of wish to know
Few wish to know of those who look and feel down
Those without joy to share the sad sacks of the town
Since most people do have worries of their own
And enough of sadness in their lives they have known
But the happy people who seem free of care
The joy they have in them with others does share
They even carry happiness walking the street
And share it with everyone that they does meet
Laugh and the World laughs with you as a truism remain
The meaning in this it's own self does explain.
