Laughing Stan Poem by Francis Duggan

Laughing Stan

He does live up to his nickname of Laughing Stan
The reason that he is such a well liked man
With a lovely wife and three young daughters a happy and a healthy family
That with laughter is the best of medicinemost would agree
In his mind for unhappiness there is not any space
He always does have a big smile on his face
He gets on well with people this is his way
Of anyone he never has a bad word to say
A down to earth hard working fellow free of conceit and guile
He greets everybody with a happy smile
On an out of sorts mood him i have yet to meet
He does carry joy with him whilst walking the street
Not surprising that he is such a well liked man
The Human World is in need of more like Laughing Stan.
