Laying Around Poem by Mason KT Goldstein

Laying Around

shall i lay around
without a sound
shall i lay around
without a golden crown
laying around looking in a mazy motion
standing there wishing i had potion
potion to cure, to cure the sick
potion to fire up the dark burnt wicks
shall i lay around without a sound
not daring to gain a pound
but this time is the best
the year of the day
wherei have been to rest
