Laying In My Mothers Arms Poem by Lu Vernezze

Laying In My Mothers Arms

You brought me up
You kept me strong
You gave me faith
Gave me a place to belong

When i would cry
You held me tight
You have never let me down

If i didn't have you
Heaven knows what i'd do
I would be a different me.
An you'd make me believe
I had all that i need, in you
Laying in my mothers arms

You gave me time
Yet gave me space to grow
You fed, clothed, loved me
And plenty more

I have nothing but respect for you
I love you always and always will
There is nothing i wouldn't do for you

If i didn't have you
Heaven knows what i'd do
I would be a different me.
An you'd make me believe
I had all that i need, in you
Laying in my mothers arms

I can never repay you, for all that you've done for me
All i can do is give you love, care and dignity
This love is forever....
Unconditional

How i love laying in my mothers arms
I know i'm safe
Laying in my mothers arms.
