Leż Y [lies] Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Lost in her lies
she can not find her way
a hopeless escape from reality
she's not living in today

her life is just a made up story
but it's so real in her eyes
she doesn't know what's real now
she's caught up in her lies

It comes as something natural
to answer with a fib
the only thing I know is true
is that she has a cat named Tib

her life was never easy
but she just made it worse
like a long annoying song
that would just repeat a verse

I really tried to love you
and over look your flaws
but everytime I blinked my eyes
you'd attack me with your claws

I can not tame a wild lie
I can not love the fake
though I will hold you hand forever
and keep you, for your sake
