Leading Us Astray Poem by Qiniso Mogale

Leading Us Astray

They are clueless
But they are called leaders
They are direction less
But they are called leaders
They are helpless
But they are called leaders
They are hapless
But they are called leaders
They lack wisdom; to be precise they are fools
But they are called leaders
They are leading us astray.

They think with their stomachs
instead of using their heads
They are arrogant and refuse to be corrected
They are haughty and refuse advice
They take uninformed decisions
They are leading without wisdom
They are leading without Christ
They are called leaders
They are leading us astray
They are leading us astray.
