Learning And Practising Poem by Lawrence Hiung

Learning And Practising

Once you start to learn, then never stop until you master it;
Once you start to inquire, then never stop until you understand it.
Once you start to think, then never stop until you get it.
Once you start to analyse, then never stop until it is made clear,
Once you start to practise, then never stop until have done it earnestly.

What other men can do by going over once, Let it be one hundred times for you.
What other men can do by going over ten times, Let it be one thousand times for you!

To proceed from truthfulness to enlightenment – that is nature
But to proceed from enlightenment to truthfulness that is education
Truthfulness leads to enlightenment and enlightenment leads to truthfulness that we should try to practise!
