Leave Me In The Dark Shades Of Solitude Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Leave Me In The Dark Shades Of Solitude

See
Here
Today
Today
See
Hear.

In the cloud thickening scowled
The first rains of this September
A Pigeon overrun by a car lay flattened
On the sad asphalt road in dusty mourning.

And in the mirror I saw myself weeping.
