Leave Sorrow Behind Poem by Paul Reed

Leave Sorrow Behind

We wait until all things are still
And a glorious and guidng hand settles gently
We stand becalmed in the glow of the moment
That we have waited for so fervently

We know again that we are in the midst of creation
And that a greater force is still kind
And when that moment has silently drifted away
We can leave our sorrows behind
