I see you in the back of my mind,

like I saw you in the beginning of time.

I feel you in my swollen heart,

and it feels like it felt at the start.



My words are not those of a poet,

but I love you and I want you to know it.

From the beginning to the end of my life,

I want you forever as my wife.



Sometimes life can be hard,

life is not always a hallmark card.

But we have made through thick and thin,

and we will do it again and again.



I cherish your thoughts, and my love is true

My heart beats and thrives only for you.

Leen my beauty, my lovely, my wife,

forever, for always, for life.
