Lepidoptera Poem by Tanec Rayl

Lepidoptera

Rating: 5.0

loathe these wings, their brevity
kaleidoscopic focus
all opportunity
resurrected symbiont

caught now
a fragile, brooding thing
core laid close
sucking meat

relentless searcher, crass bewitcher

another hand
gently tugging, tugboat fencing
cold vortices of portent
the road to Manipur
