Let Curse Not Fall Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let Curse Not Fall

Rating: 5.0

It shakes my confidence
When I look at hungry eyes at once
They stare at me as if I am the only one
Woman on earth and found by no one

Their eyes penetrate through body
That pinches my heart and shakes body
Why can't they see hidden fear?
The pain I undergo and bear?

How much I have suffered and undergone?
What else have they left behind to be done?
I live with unknown fear of jackals?
From where will it come and attack on arrival?

I curse almighty for making me beautiful
Why has He showered grace in plentiful?
I should have been made clumsy and sorrowful
So there was no need to live life as deceitful

He (husband) was one of the noblest persons
I was happy and leading life with true reasons
I had nothing else to dream when he was around
The heaven was just before me in him to be found

He gave me everything that I wanted
Served well all wishes and chanted
He was jovial person and man of high ideals
I was so much deep in his love and felt it real

Luck would not have it for me
He left us behind to live and feel not free
Surrounded by hostile atmosphere
We have place to go no where

I cover the face but eyes speak it all
People try to be near with unwanted calls
I am homely and god fearing woman
I expect them to behave well as man

Let curse not befall on any one
Let no one suffer ill fate as I have undergone
God bless all the lovely and beautiful stay
Wish it to be happy journey and must stay

Amber Reedus6 hours ago I see whut you are trying to do here. But honestly, I can't see it all the way through. I have an issue when people use the same word to rhyme. And even more so, when they have intentions of rhyming words....That don't even rhyme. Needs work.
