Let Go Poem by Standing in the Silence of Your Pain

He's got me so confused,
I don't know what to do.
I'm tired of this war,
the one I know no one can ever win.
I don't know why after everything you've put me through,
I keep coming back to you.
My head screams, 'Let Go! '
but my heart screams, 'NO! '
This last time I broke a promise to myself,
and once again I let you destroy the barriers in my heart.
So here I am again,
Hating myself for talking to you.
I wish things would work out next time,
but I cant let there be a next time.
