Hooked Poem by Standing in the Silence of Your Pain

Love is like a big, shiny fish hook. Its mesmerizing. It makes you ignore every warnign of, 'Stay away! It will hurt you! ' And pretty soon your hooked, and the harder you struggle, the more you try, the more it hurts. Then your tossed up on the beach. Left alone gasping for breath on the sand. You know your not the first to be fooled by that big, shiny fish hook, and you know your not the last. Because somewhere someone else is being fooled. Being torn away from everything familiar and left alone in a world of unknown pain.
