🇮🇳
Let India be India again,
Not merely a map of rivers and plains,
Not merely a flag against the sky,
But a promise that refuses to die.
Let India be India again,
For the farmer beneath the summer sun,
For the worker whose hands build cities,
Yet whose own journey is never done.
Let India be India again,
For the child with impossible dreams,
Studying beneath a flickering light,
Believing hope is stronger than it seems.
Let India be India again,
Not divided by language or name,
Not measured by caste or fortune,
But united by a larger flame.
I have seen her in crowded streets,
In temples, mosques, churches, and shrines,
In soldiers standing at frozen borders,
In poets crafting immortal lines.
I have seen her wounds and victories,
Her chaos and her grace,
A billion stories moving together,
Searching for their rightful place.
Let India be India again,
Where knowledge outruns fear,
Where honesty is not a weakness,
And justice belongs to all who are here.
Let India be India again,
For the dreamers and the brave,
For every voice that dares to rise,
For every soul that will not be a slave.
For India is not merely history,
Nor only the glory of days gone by,
India is a question before us—
What shall we build, and why?
And I answer:
Let India be India again,
A land where courage still remains,
A nation vast enough for every dream,
And strong enough to make them real.
For I believe the Ganga still remembers,
The Himalayas still stand tall,
And somewhere in the heart of every Indian,
Lives a future waiting to call.
Let India be India again.
