Let It Be Said Poem by Divya Macsuedon

Let It Be Said

Let it not be said,
She loved in vain.
Let it not be said,
From going she refrained.

For love is confined to time, not place
It extends it's arms - to pull in, embrace.
To age or years, it isn't confined.
For how else, would one, explain -
Being Loved from Childhood to Prime

A husband, wife, brother, sister, my and mine.
Sometimes, do fail the tests of time.

Emblazoned in the heart are other faces well defined.

Tugging at heart strings,
They are a part of You, through time.
For love extends beyond boundaries of 'My and Mine'.
It takes into it's folds
Compassionate hearts of it's kind.

Let it be said
Love was her refrain.
Let it be said
With her love - Others changed.

Let it be said
Love's flow doesn't cease.
It gushes through the hearts
Like joyous Mountain Streams
