Let It Rain
The nimbus clouds gather in the sky
Swirling winds knell into the air
And the sound of startling rain soothes my ears,
Let it rain.
The misty skies descend onto the ocean
Silvery drops of rain fall on the ground
And some drops of rain quench the thirst of my garden,
Let it rain.
The pitter patter rain gently patting my window panes
I find peace in the blessed untimely rain
And my agony melts away with the touch of each drop of rain,
Let it rain.
