LET ME SAY....
Its breaking, my heart,
With the overflowing sorrows of mine,
I could hear its slow cracking,
And feel the dripping sorrows,
Let me say... it is my loneliness!
As I flitted into the dark alley,
A cool breeze struck me,
As if the slightest imbalance of mine,
Would push me back into the world,
Where its mere shadows,
Grates the brain,
And scorches away the happiness from the heart,
Let me say...the breeze of loneliness!
There I stood,
Surrounded by happiness and grief as well,
Suddenly my mind vanished,
To the heinous and grievous pasts,
To allot a role in its roots,
Of intricate and twisted happenings of life,
Slowly like a scapegoat I lay,
Feeling tired of being that way,
Let me say...it is my loneliness!
Yet believing in the almighty I move on...
Fighting down the dreary thoughts,
To rejoin my shattered heart,
But it goes, the efforts of mine,
All in vain...! !
I never sat with despair,
But fought back with courage,
To heal my heart,
From its slow, deliberate and torturing loneliness;
Slowly the worst had passed,
And it had ousted at last,
Now, my heart smiles with glee,
And here I'm, all free...! !
