Let Me Think About It Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Let Me Think About It

I think I know you well,
But let me think about it.
You didn't mean to harm me,
But let me see.

I let you know how I felt,
But you did harsh words dealt,
In kinds of tones that I wouldn't have meant.
I now thought about you in a different way.

See, all these days I trusted you.
You said you trusted me too,
But now I ask you for your apology,
That you need to make to me.
