my friend let not your mistakes
overtake you
run, run faster
move on, if you must, try flying
hover higher, your mistakes will just
watch you and cannot hold you
with that handcuff of regret

do not listen to them,
they only make you believe that you cannot
go higher than that

run, run faster, if you must, try flying,
do not be overtaken by the guilt that it gives you,
you are air and water and fire
they cannot defeat you

keep on working and going and make yourself
as busy as ever.

and at night before you sleep
do not forget to pray, to the God of Life
the God of Mercy,
He knows you and He smiles at you

Human and pleasing as you are
bowing your head in love and humility.
