Let Our Meeting Be A Chemical Reaction
let our meeting be
simply a chemical
reaction without
the sophistication
of verbosity, nothing
lexical, but simply
be a change of two
colors, yellow to bluish
like i am being oxidized
by your yellow sulfur
powder, though brief
and not too hot, let
me be transformed to
something kinder,
something greater
something stronger
than ourselves inside
that test tube heated
by a bunsen burner
