Let's Be Birds Poem by J S Shankar

Let's Be Birds

Rating: 5.0

My Love now you awake,
Why the world us to sack,
Why do we care for the world?
Can't we fly like an uncaged bird?
Let's be subsumed in each other,
Like phoenix same sex gather.
Dies, recuperates having mixed
veins,
And again dies killing eternal
pain.
Waving wings rise again,
To celebrate love's gain.
Now my love forsake the worldly
customs,
Purity, chastity why do you prefer.
Forsake the worldly abode,
And choose my heart's red-road,
And then two birds of same
weather,
Will fly fitting each other's
feathers.
Phoenix is nowhere here,
But we two birds are forever to cheer.

Excellent deep profound and heart touching write. I'd never like to disturb your study but whenever get time spend a little for poetry. During our age there was no such platform which you get now. Keep writing.
