Let's be lost in time,
For this is the best of the times
To be lost in.
Leave out a part of us back here,
To be looked back upon,
When we might have
Walked our separate ways.
Let's bury some of our
Happy memories here and now,
Deep inside our hearts,
We might need them,
When with age we bow.
We might make these
True instances of love
Our walking sticks
To hoist our hopes
When we see those
Sly, insensitive tricks
That life will have for us.
Better still, I suggest,
Let's us be lost in love
For this is the best of the love
To be lost in.
