Let The Angels Lull You To Sleep Poem by Toshie Nohara

Let The Angels Lull You To Sleep

When on the pillow your head lies,
Cast off worries, do not sigh,
Let the angels lull you to sleep,
Waste not time counting sheep,
'Tis the time to free your mind
From doubts and fears of any kind,
'Tis the time to be calm and relaxed
Instead of solving your income tax!
'Tis the time to find peace in bed
Be thankful to God for your daily bread.
'Tis the time to believe
God will find a way for you,
Turn off the bedroom light, and trust
God to renew you tonight.
'Tis the time to pamper yourself with rest
For tomorrow will take care of itself
You can do your very best,
When you let the angels lull
you
To sleep and rest.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
How wonderful it will be when we let the angels lull us to sleep. If we believe we can forget our worries and free our minds from doubts and fears, we can feel refreshed the next morning. This is my version of how to do it in my poem.
