Let The Wind Come Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let The Wind Come

Let the wind come

Why did you leave us alone?
And silently gone
To knock the doors of heaven
I am completely shaken

Not a day passes
Without your misses
I cry and cry
What else can I try?

I am broken
Peace has deserted me even
I stare at sky
And ask, what have you done and why?

Not a single man talked adversely?
Everybody praised your nature openly
I thought of your smooth journey
You were jewel in our family

How do we forget your innocent smile?
You were shining in your natural style
That smile has gone forever
We miss you daily and shall forget never

You took away everything
What am I here doing?
Life is proving difficult
The deep hurt feelings are felt

You were always an exception
Very much careful in maintaining the relation
No one went back without your hospitality
You had mastery in cooking and preserved it as special quality

I look at picture
And find gloom in future
What shall I be living a life in the desert?
I have no such art

I may spend time in isolation
With all memories stored in
There is no other go
Let the wind come now and blow me
