Let Them Reap Poem by Randy McClave

Let Them Reap

Let them keep whatever they borrowed or stole
Don't let revenge or getting even be your life's ultimate goal,
And for their broken promises let them keep
And because of them do not ever worry or weep.
If you gave them something to borrow don't expect it back
If you loaned them a dollar don't be a maniac,
And if you gave them your time and they walked away
Let them keep the memories for that day.
If you gave them days or months or even many years
Let them keep the love that you gave them with cheers,
And don't ever say that you owe me
The value of your love doesn't depend on the love you gave happily.
Let them keep whatever that they borrowed or took
And don't ever see or treat them like a crook,
Because it must had impacted their life and they needed it more
You can't take away the beauty of that love that you gave before.
If they gave you pain in return of your generosity and love
How beautiful is that, should be the thoughts that your thinking of,
Remember you gave them your time and your love let them keep it
Them from your joy and your happiness, let them reap it.
