World and small countries should have no confusion
They gave sacrifice and part played for integration
It should also be not forgotten for their contribution
They had lot more efforts for strengthening institutions

Many countries remember their slavery days
Celebrate independence and remember olden days
Please remember one thing for self respect and honor
They have given you integrated unit and more

They might have exploited natural wealth
They might have caused many more deaths
Remember one thing from the conquerors
They have witnessed too burden as survivors

It has not happened first time in history
World has witnessed upheaval already
Many countries were under occupation
Now see their position with regard to international relation

Victor always demand heavy price
Not only land but with full concession and promise
That they may remain subdued any pay war booty
In turn they were to stand on their side for security

Let us not open past
The bad phase has already lasted
Many nations rejoice their independence
It is time now for building and remembrance
