It's like a seed
A night or two
In the warmth of the soil
In the silence of the night
In the orgasm of their tryst
With their undefeatable desire
To express the passion of their oneness
So that their pleasure reaches the heavens;
The seed sprouts
Steadily, silently, without fear
So is the bond with the soil so strong
Grows stronger, enters deeper, embraces tighter
Their promises, their bonding
Never broken though shaken
Never forgotten though tested;
Love is so, love should be
In the warmth of the hearts
In the spontaneity of the breath
In the steady stream of the blood
With the swiftness of all emotions and feelings
With the desire to heal all wounds
With the burden to touch all brokenness;
Grow stronger, swifter, and handsomer
To stitch the patches of humanity
When the world grows weary
The earth burial ground
All the songs melancholy
All the gatherings funeral prayer
All the roads battleground
Let us plant love again
In every heart
Let it grow from me to you
From earth to the skies
From valleys to the mountain
