Letter To Myself

Everytime I talk to you
You hear, but don't listen
There is a void in your soul
You know something's missing
You don't know the what
But you know the how
Stop worrying over the has been
Start living the now
Stop putting up this facade
Stop trying to block me out
Always fighting with yourself
Leaves you bleeding in doubts
You know, no one knows
What you're going through
You always get stabbed in the back
Cus you let them get close to you
You unsteadily play the fence
You know how it feels on both sides
Sometimes let things run it course
And stop worrying about the ride
Tell them all to live and let you live
If they disagree, make them leave
And stay true to your religion of not
Taking that which you cannot give
Stand tall and stay steadfast like a rock
Never be too quick to move
Never be in a haste to make decisions
Cus in a win win you could still lose
In a fight between you and the family
Never be too weak to work a truce
In everything never forget to stand up
For the ones who are down for you.
Peace! ! !
