Letter To Rebellion Poem by Wynand Johannes Louw

Letter To Rebellion

In life and death
and things in between,
In love and war
and things of this world.
Do you not see
how fragile it is?
How quickly it happens
and changes for good?

Please see in reason
of what you are doing,
and heed to this warning
that I send to you.
I can not lose you…
today or tomorrow.
Although I know true,
your heart be in mine.

Find in my friendship
the Holy One himself,
and see in reason
of love He has for you.

In life and death
and things in between,
In love and war
and things of this world.
Brittle be friendship,
and love and the truth.
Find here your foothold,
in love WE will give.
