Letting My Mind Go - Poem by kayla fountain

our special love
that ran out on us
we never really meant all the i love yous
now we lay here our minds empty
nothing to say to eachother
words giving us silence

questions you seem to never answer
the way i stand alone
waiting for you to embrace me
but you leave in the cold wind
letting me freeze

Good write, Kayla... I particularly liked the 'chilly' second stanza! Well done! (Report)Reply
