Letting You Go
It wasn't hard letting you go
Just sad letting you know
Times were sometimes grey
But I could never say
I love you too.
Soon it will be dawn
And we must move on
We walk past the trees
Reflecting on the memories
The tears in your eyes
As we say our goodbyes,
This is how it ends
We will always be friends.
You say I will always love you
To my self I think
I will always love you too.

Aw this is very bitter/sweet, the melodramatic ending inwhich you will live forever in your mind as time marches forward.....Very good. Bonnie
