Leviathan Poem by fraidoon warasta

Leviathan

leviathan
fading, once
was resonating

wind chime conveying
scent of pastures

heartless intelligence
guiding the mass

to an utopian
new dimension

look how babies
in the wombs

are fed with
paint and plastic

while mothers, absorbed
in their shiny devices

persuasive plans
cause more estrangement

deeper distance
from the source

remedy bloodier
than the sore

ocean has
slept enough

a red banner
heretics should raise

all together
waves of rage

fist and shout
deafen and defeat

the leviathan
and let it sink
