Liaisons Mask Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Liaisons Mask

Lyrical
Satirical
My verse
Sometimes it’s really obverse
Hiding deep meanings
Concealing the feelings
Away from the daylights glare
Yet still there in mystical air
A message to my secret lover
The only one that can uncover
Like hieroglyphics hard to decipher for most
To the knowledgeable reader, it’s easy they coast
But then she knows me so well
Our minds communicate and gel
Covered by this liaisons mask
Why you may well ask
It could be the way
That’s we like to play
