Liberated Poem by Monique Miller

Liberated

Free! Free! Free!
Once again I am free to be
Free to open my eyes and see
The beautiful world shut out by me

Happily I stand and sing
The praises of my King
For only he can bring
The freedom from this thing

The prisoners of my heart
Gloriously I rip them apart
To give myself a fresh start
Cleanse my body of diseased warts

Monique this is quite the visual you create in this well written poem! I especially loved the last verse as it made me laugh to picture 'warts'...from some crazy reason ((Smile)) Yes, it is always good to read about freedom of any kind. Thanx for sharing. ==Shelley==
