If I ever heard something bad about you
I wouldn't treat you like you had a disease or the flu,
I wouldn't treat you any different are my replies
Unless I see it with my very own two eyes.
When people cross you, they then will play the victim
As if the devil himself had kicked them,
They will lie and talk behind your back
About you their lies and hate and gossip they will unpack.
What they say about you I will not easily believe
It's hard for a good person to gossip and deceive,
A bad person will trip over their very own tongue
When untruths by them are flung.
One thing about me I am not a child I am grown
As a caring and a honest person I am known,
And unless I see it or hear it with my own two ears
I will not believe in gossip or their caused tears.
Those who spread gossip or lies or rumors remember this
I will never wish you any peace or bliss,
All will be judged who had judged and told lies
For repentance in hells fire there will be their cries.
