Lies, Lies, Lies Poem by Steven Iceberg

Lies, Lies, Lies

Rating: 5.0

I've heard it all before my friend
All the things you tell me
I'm fed up of your games
I'm not stupid I can see
The way you want me to feel
Whenever you around
Your voice makes me shiver
Ughh that horrible sound
Don't you hate liars?
People just like you
You pretend you love me
The sky's are no longer blue
I want you to leave
Me and my friends alone
Your words are strong and hurtful
I'm number one target zone
Tears well up in my eyes
Whenever your around
LEAVE ME ALONE NOW
ugh that horrible sound

nice piece despite its pessimistic ending.I strongly support your decision. As the saying goes 'lies have short legs' and the truth will be out, very tender poem
