Live or die
Laugh or cry
What is it you’re
Gonna do with your life
Where you gonna go
When you get to the
End of the line

Rain or shine
Peace or strife
Have you lived
Even one moment
Of your life
Will you know you’re alive
Until you die

To scream or sigh
Believe or deny
What do you think
When the truth
Is so tangled
In all the lies

Do you fall to your knees
Or reach for the sky
Do you know
What’s out there
Better than
What’s inside

What will be your final lines
Will they be of
Faith & Dreams & The Grand Design
Or will they be lost
Like so many pearls
Cast before swine

Will the tears
That fall from your eyes
Wash away the
Pain and loneliness
Of all the wasted time

And what excuse
Will you use to justify
All those things
You chose to leave
So far behind
Will they bring you peace
At the end of time

And if there is no wisdom
To be gained between these lines
Will you take it upon faith
That I will live my life
Every moment I’m alive
