I gave him all he wanted
I tried so hard to please
But he drove this cold spike
Straight through my heart, straight through me

Why do I feel so cold
Lying here in this bed
So very much alone
Feels like a storm in my head

So eager to please
The wrong choice to make
It brought me to my knees
All this heartache

Delusional,
I thought I could make him love me
But now I know
A heart of stone cannot feel

Were you talking to me
It’s an electric storm in my brain
Can’t stop the ringing
It’s driving me insane

What did I so wrong
Did I lie down to soon
It’s the same old song
There’s nothing I can do

Now tears are in my eyes
I hate myself for what I’ve done
Heart and soul on a shelf
Just call them gone

So many mistakes
So much pain
Still don’t know why
I do it again and again

I saw a dream
In my mind
Carnal knowledge
Of mankind

Destroyed what I had left
My life is gone
I tried to be the last
That’s what I did wrong

So long heart
Our time is done
Time for us to part
Cannot love another one

Hello world I’ve done it again
Another stupid decision
Killed my heart
Brought my life to an end
