This has something of an existential feel to it, or hints thereof; which I like. I think you could go even deeper in your exploration of the themes in this poem though. Just a thought. But as a start, very nice.

Good poem about a topic so intense and so complex. I am forever grateful to my late mother who showed me every day what caring meant. I really learned how to care and I see the capability to care as one of the greatest assets a human can have.
