Paul Barratt

Life - Poem by Paul Barratt

So precious and fragile
We walk away
Taken for granted
We live to see another day
Tomorrow will always come
We plan it that way
What do we see
Do we have a clue, I hear you say
That life is a gift
Not to waste away
Stop and take a breath
We all wanna play
The game of life
I just wanna stay
But we have to die
Onwards to heaven on a beautiful day
Amen
