i did start
slow and steady
remembering dad
who said
slow and steady win the race.......
minutes aged in to hours
my pace became fast
could hear the heart beat
and felt the pulse rate
burned all the calories.
15 km@ 7 km per hour
dial told me the pace.
thirsty and tired
came the run to halt.
panging, sweating
moving nowhere
reaching nowhere
i finished the run
where i started it.
i was on tread mill.
JUST LIFE LIKE.
Back to square One! This is life, a circle that you have beautifully painted in this well penned write! I know the feeling since I was young, I have done a lot of running and still do! 10+++Just keep moving with the time! Keep inspiring the World with more of your talented works! God Bless You! Love and Peace for always! Romeo from New York City! ...
its a very nice poem you keep guessing till the last line 10+++
At least you were back to where you started which is better than being six steps back! Nice piece brother, and is real - does happen sometimes that is why there's always a next time to look forward to..10
The evolution doesn't stop there, but moving in phases, follows time.
The Lord does not like it so much.......................best

wow. one word i have for you. you offered a new insight to life, showing how life could be a cycle whereby we end where we started from hence the absurdity and meaninglessness. nice but do look on the bright side. (:
