Life A Hunter Poem by Ojok Isaac

Life A Hunter

Far away from home
Creeping in the thorny jungle
Beneath the dark canopy
I have beautiful sharp eyes
But I can't see tomorrow
Only a spear in my hand
Nevertheless, I'm not afraid

Cackles of the enemies
As they lark to maraud me
I gently walk like a king
I will kill a thousand animals
And this is my destiny
I will suffer but survive
And I will struggle but succeed
And that's life nowadays
You don't have to give up
