Indeed, change can only come from within oneself. The beauty of free will, and the double-edged sword as well. Because we are free, we have not only the freedom to change but we receive all of the consequences of change, good and bad. You are right in saying, too, that some are 'too busy' trying to change others without first doing their own 'homework' of changing themselves. It may be that in changing myself that I invite others to change themselves as well. Great poem! Deep thoughts! Keep on writing!
